Sponsored by the Miaimi University Department of Computer and Information Technology

The Miami University Department of Computer and Information Technology (CIT) is hosting a forum to bring together employers and educators to discuss the Information Technology needs of businesses in Southwestern Ohio. We would like to know how we can better prepare our students for employment in Southwestern Ohio. While our primary mission at this time is Associate Degree programs, we are interested in hearing about present and future IT needs in all areas. Employers and educators alike are invited to share their perspectives.

The CIT department is housed on both the Middletown and Hamilton regional campuses of Miami University. We currently offer Associate degrees in Computer Programming and Support, Networking, and are working on new IT Support and Visual Media Technology concentrations. We also offer the opportunity for students to take the first two years of a Bachelors degree at Middletown or Hamilton and then finish their degree in Oxford or at other institutions.
